The University of Lincoln is an award-winning UK university, recognised for its commitment to outstanding teaching, research and student experience. Offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the university welcomes students from across the UK and around the world, while maintaining strong links with industry to help prepare graduates for successful careers.
The University of Lincoln wanted to maximise the value of Dotdigital by developing a more strategic approach to student recruitment communications. While the platform was already in place, there was an opportunity to improve automation, increase personalisation and make better use of customer data throughout the student recruitment journey. The objective was to create a long-term CRM strategy capable of supporting prospective students and key influencers, like parents, from their initial enquiry through to enrolment, while establishing scalable foundations for future growth.
Our engagement began with a Spotlight Discovery, combining a detailed CRM audit, customer journey mapping and technology review to identify opportunities across the recruitment lifecycle. Following discovery, we continue to work alongside the University's marketing team through an ongoing strategic CRM consultancy retainer, helping shape the evolution of its student communications. Our work includes: CRM discovery and strategic recommendations Customer journey mapping Technology and integration audit Data capture and enrichment strategy Automation optimisation Design and implementation of new lifecycle automations Segmentation and personalisation framework Dotdigital integration support Contact scoring strategy By combining strategic consultancy with practical implementation, we've helped establish a CRM roadmap that enables the University to deliver more relevant, timely and personalised communications to prospective students.
Coming Soon! This strategic partnership is ongoing, with new automations and CRM initiatives continuing to be delivered. Performance reporting and measurable outcomes will be published as the programme matures.
